UK Based Call Centres - Keeping Your Call in the UK
According to the Customer Care 2007 survey: Nine out of 10 of those
put through to an overseas call centre were dissatisfied with how
their call was handled, the same proportion said they'd had some
difficulty understanding the agent.
Whilst many major finance and service providers have opted for
cheaper offshore call centres, others
have made a conscious decision to listen to their customers and
keep their call centres in the UK.
Cahoot,
Natwest, Alliance
& Leicester and the Royal Bank of Scotland have all stated
their intention to remain based in the UK only. Using a UK based
call centre is seen as so important to consumers that many of these
companies actually highlight the fact that they are UK based in
their adverts.
If you want to ensure that your call is not diverted overseas then

for both their customer services and support.
By choosing not to use them perhaps we can force the companies
who have gone abroad back.
